BTS’ RM Set to Return After Military Discharge

RM, the leader of BTS, is well known for his taste in music and artistic tendencies. He skillfully combined his creative and intellectual sides to create a witty homage to BTS' significant influence on the world music scene when he was released from the military on June 10. He humorously discussed his previous experiences as a military cadet and alluded to his post-discharge aspirations while performing a jazz song.

RM provides initial updates following military release.

On his Instagram story, Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, posted four lyrics from the 2008 song That's Life, which was remixed by well-known jazz and traditional pop performer Frank Sinatra. The lyrics were as follows: "You're riding high in April, shot down in May / But I know I'm gonna change that tune."

They allude to the unpredictable nature of life's circumstances, where one may be successful or happy one minute and then have difficulties or setbacks the next.

Perhaps it's RM's way of saying how difficult his time as a military recruit was. However, the BTS leader will undoubtedly "change that tune (situation)" with tenacity and will. Here are the lyrics that follow: "When I'm back on top, back on top in June / I said that's life (that's life)."

Since RM and the other members of BTS are all planning to return to their civilian lives and restore their status as top K-pop stars, the return in June should go without saying.

By doing this, he quietly hinted at the wonderful things that will happen to him after he is released. "You never left the top king, now you're finally physically there for it." His humorous wink was praised by fans, who confirmed his worldwide influence. The fan efforts to make his return memorable were also appreciated by RM.

He posted images of the balloon-attached flying posters and banners that BTS ARMY had set up for him close to his Chuncheon base. In order to thank the fans, whose unfailing love and support had kept him going during difficult times, he also sent a purple heart emoji. As a result, it is once more demonstrated that BTS and its fan base have a lasting relationship.
